Seeking Performers for Backwoods Broken Heart - Feminine Rage in Country Music at The Green Room 42

After the success of Sleigh Bells & Satin, we are back with another exciting cabaret! Backwoods Broken Heart - Feminine Rage in Country Music is a performance of the music of female country music icons sharing their power and badass-ery. Featuring songs like “Before He Cheats” by Carrie Underwood and “Mama’s Broken Heart” by Miranda Lambert, this show seeks to present the best and baddest of feminine rage in country music.

The soundcheck and show will take place on Saturday, September 19th. Soundcheck will be the same day as the performance, usually around 3/3:30pm. The show will begin at 9:30pm. You will have free time between the soundcheck and the show, where you can go home, go get dinner, hang out at the venue, whatever you so choose. This is an unpaid opportunity, but professional footage will be provided for all participants. Participants will be expected to sell a minimum of three in-person tickets. Livestream tickets will also be available for anyone not able to come in person.

Submissions

• Please submit a vocal reel/country or pop song (full song or a cut, I’m flexible!) Vocal reel doesn’t have to be country, I just want to hear your voice!

• Please note that the song you submit might not be the song you sing in the show. If you are only interested in performing a specific song, please mention that in the Google form. This will not affect your casting.
