SEEKING

Equity actors for roles in MIX AND MASTER.

Both roles are currently cast, seeking understudies for both roles. Local NYC actors are encouraged to audition.

SEEKING:

LONNIE (CAST: Kara Young) Black woman - identified, mid-late 30's. A young DJ, master selector. Energetic. Vibrant spirit. Neurodivergent. Optimistic with a fragile soul. Came up in the dj world often as the only woman in a sea of men. Leads with both masculine and feminine energy. Sharp shooter masking extreme loneliness. Hip Hop and NYC swag, reppin' the boogie down is a must.

RED (CAST: Ruben Santiago-Hudson) Black man - identified, early 60's. A legendary DJ, master selector. Owner of a dying Record Shop. A curmudgeon displeased with seemingly every damn thing. A loner. Unapologetic. A tough shell that is hard to crack. But underneath, mounds of vulnerability, sensitivity, and a desperate need for connection. Hip Hop and NYC swag, reppin' the boogie down is a must.
