PREPARATION

Please prepare 16- 32 bars of a song of your choice in the style of the show. We welcome songs from the contemporary "pop opera" musical theatre canon (Boublil/Schonberg, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Maury Yeston, Frank Wildhorn, etc.) Have your full book of music on hand. Please bring a photo and resume.

LES MISERABLES

SEEKING:

ENSEMBLE: (18 years old and older; any ethnicity; all gender identities) Excellent contemporary Broadway singers with pop sensibility. Must be able to convey passion and specificity through song to portray a wide range of featured ensemble roles, including factory workers, sailors, laborers, students, townspeople, inn guests, prostitutes, wedding guests, soldiers, National Guard, prisoners, and members of the Parisian poor. Ensemble members should be versatile with strong instincts who can quickly create distinct, compelling characters throughout the production. Some ensemble tracks may cover principal roles. All Ensemble members should be comfortable movers.
