Student playwright/directors range in age from 9-13; each show stars adult actors. This will be our third production of this very special project; in the past, our adult actors have been blown away by the vision, direction, and professionalism of our young playwright/directors. They resent the way MA'TU pilots, and instead want them to check in with them before acting without thought. They view MA'TU, and to some extent, themself as insensitive and manipulative to their friends.
MA'TU: The other pilot. The inner shield developed more recently who is more defensive and reckless. They are the one who pilots in social settings, usually without MA'TU's input. They believe being the main pilot is the only way for the two of them to be accepted in society, as their partner cannot handle social settings, and think SANKOH overthinks everything and that life isn't as serious as they fear it is.
