[Scrooge] A wealthy, miserly businessman who has shut himself off from love and community, until the spirits force him to confront his past, present, and future and rediscover the joy of generosity. Gender: Male. Vocal type: B♭2–F4

[Marley] Scrooge’s deceased business partner who returns from the grave in chains to warn Scrooge against following the same selfish path he did. Gender: Male. Vocal type: A2–F4

[Ghost of Christmas Past] A bright, youthful, and playful spirit who guides Scrooge through his memories and helps him reconnect with the love and joy he once knew. Gender: Female. Vocal type: A3–F5

[Ghost of Christmas Present] A larger-than-life, warm, generous, and jovial spirit who shows Scrooge the joy of Christmas and the richness found in family, community, and kindness. Gender: Male. Vocal type: B♭2–G4

[Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come] A mysterious, witty, and unsettling spirit who forces Scrooge to confront the lonely and tragic consequences of the life he has chosen. Gender: Male. Vocal type: A2–F4
