Seth Bockley (pronounced BOAK-ley) is an American playwright, director, and adapter. His plays include WILDERNESS; 2666 (adapted from the novel by Roberto Bolaño with Robert Falls); THE DEATH AND LIFE OF BILLY THE KID; FEBRUARY HOUSE (a collaboration with lyricist and composer Gabriel Kahane); ASK AUNT SUSAN; LAIKA’S COFFIN; THE ELEPHANT & THE WHALE; and adaptations of George Saunders’s short stories COMMCOMM and JON. He is a two-time winner of Chicago’s Equity Jeff Award for Best New Adaptation.
