Sam Catlin is a writer-producer presently in an overall deal with Apple TV+ through his production company, Short Drive Entertainment. Currently, Sam is the showrunner of the second season of Apple’s upcoming series Sugar, starring Colin Farrell. Prior to Sugar, Sam was the showrunner and creator of AMC/Sony TV’s Preacher. Sam previously held an overall deal at Sony TV, where he was a co-executive producer on the critically acclaimed series Breaking Bad. Sam has won several Primetime Emmy Awards, Producers Guild of America Awards and Writers Guild of America Awards, amongst other accolades, for his work on the project. His other writing credits include Rake, Canterbury’s Law, Kidnapped and the comedy feature The Great New Wonderful. Sam is represented by Joe Cohen and Rob Kenneally at CAA, as well as attorney Ken Richman at Hansen Jacobson.
