Lila Rose’s plays include WILDFLOWER, BUREAU OF MISSING PERSONS, 100 PLANES, BIOGRAPHY OF A CONSTELLATION, and CATCHING FLIGHT. Her work has been produced and developed at Second Stage, Arena Stage, The Kennedy Center, EST, La Jolla Playhouse, Perishable Theater, Mixed Blood, New Dramatists, PlayPenn, The Lark, and The Playwrights Foundation, among others. Lila Rose was a recipient of the Adele and Ted Shank Playwriting Fellowship in 2008. She spent a year in residence at Cornerstone Theatre Company in Los Angeles. Awards include Perishable Theatre's International Women's Playwriting Festival, EST/Sloan Foundation Fellow, and the I.J. Kapstein Award in Playwriting. Lila Rose is a graduate of Brown University. She received her MFA in Playwriting from UCSD. Lila Rose teaches playwriting at Westmont College, where she is an artist-in-residence. She also belongs to the Dramatists Guild of America and is a founding member of The Playwrights Union in Los Angeles.
