Kim Merrill

Kim Merrill is author of the play FINDING CLAIRE, published by Dramatists Play Service, Inc. She also wrote the full-length plays CRIMINAL ACTS, SEX, DEATH AND THE BEACH BABY, and EXPOSURE TIME. Ms. Merrill’s plays have been produced by Playwrights Theatre of New Jersey, Theater for the New City in New York, Oakland Public Theatre, The Contemporary American Theatre Festival in West Virginia, The Womens’ Project, and Provincetown Theatre Company. Staged readings of her plays have been performed by PlayLabs 2005 at the Playwrights Center in Minneapolis, The Cleveland Playhouse, American Voices at Geva Theatre Center, The Women’s Project, The Cherry Lane LookSee Series, and LaMama ETC. Ms. Merrill was a 2003 finalist for the Heideman Award at Actors Theatre of Lousville, and her work has been supported by The Pilgrim Project in New York and a Playwrights First Award for Outstanding Merit.
