Fred F. Finklehoffe was born on February 16, 1910, in Springfield, MA. He is best known for co-penning the play BROTHER RAT with John Monks. The play ran on Broadway for 577 performances from December 16, 1936, to May of 1938. He was also a Broadway producer from 1942-1957, splitting his time between New York and Hollywood, where he wrote and produced for film. On October 5, 1977, he died in Springtown, PA.
