Edmund Beloin was born on April 1, 1910, in Stratford, Connecticut. He attended NYU and Columbia University as a medical student before turning his attention to writing fiction and literary criticism. From 1936 to 1943 he wrote for the Jack Benny radio show and then continued working for Benny when the comedian moved to films. Beloin continued working in film through the early 1960s. He later moved into television, writing for shows such as “Family Affair,” “The Lucy Show,” and “My Three Sons.” Beloin teamed up with Henry Garson to coauthor IN ANY LANGUAGE, a comedy published by Dramatists Play Service, Inc. Beloin died on May 26, 1992, in Pompano Beach, Florida.
