Don DeLillo was born in New York and attended Fordham University. Since 1971 he has published numerous novels and is widely recognized as one of the most distinctive American writers of our day. His novels include “The Names,” “White Noise,” “Libra,” Mao II,” “Falling Man,” and the highly-acclaimed “Underworld.” LIBRA was adapted by John Malkovich and produced as a play by Steppenwolf Theatre. Mr. DeLillo’s previous play THE DAY ROOM was premiered by the American Repertory Theatre. His play VALPARAISO was also first seen at A.R.T., and has since had productions around the world. It is published by Scribner. His play LOVE-LIES-BLEEDING was produced at Steppenwolf and subsequently at the Kennedy Center. It is also published by Scribner.
