Andrew Gerle

Andrew Gerle is a multi-faceted theatre creator, musician, author and educator. His award-winning works for the theatre include the musicals Meet John Doe (cast album on Broadway Records), Whisper Darkly (concept album on TBIC Records), The Tutor and Prospera (with Broadway legend Tom Jones). Andrew has served as conductor, accompanist, pianist and musical director for some of Broadway’s biggest names, including Betty Buckley, John Raitt, Leslie Uggams, Jennifer Holliday, Shirley Jones and Brian Stokes Mitchell. In 2017, he conducted the hit off-Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd, and he has been heard in the pits of Broadway shows including An American in Paris, Ragtime, Matilda and Newsies.
