ABOUT THE SHOW

Dell and Micki are sisters who work in a bakery. Been working there their whole lives, their mom owns the place. Even though they’re only four years apart, it may as well be 40, they’re that different. Dell is sixteen going on sixty, an old soul struggling to understand why their father died – he definitely didn’t kill himself, even if that’s what they all say. Micki is twenty going on sixteen, excited to be embarking on a new relationship – even if she ain’t supposed to. No matter, at least Dell’s got Adeline, her new friend opening her up to new experiences like blow jobs and alcohol. When Micki leaves her family, the girls’ lives are twisted into a turmoil neither could’ve ever predicted.

Dell: Short for Delilah, our protagonist. Surly, socially awkward, sixteen going on one hundred and sixty, an outsider, constantly lost but never asks for directions, white, she/her. ALREADY CAST

Micki: Short for Michaela, Dell’s older sister, twenty. She still lives at home, in a lot of ways more immature than Dell. Very hard and harsh but super open, white, she/her. NO LONGER ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS.

Christina: Studying to be a kindergarten teacher, rough around the edges, no patience, has a heart but it’s buried deep inside her, she/her, Black, twenty.

Adeline: The new girl, a revolutionary, doesn’t take any shit, becomes best friends with Dell and neither is safe for the other, she/her, woman of color, sixteen. This role includes performing kissing and non-sexual physical contact. All theatrical intimacy will be choreographed by a professional intimacy choreographer

All roles open to any race/ethnicity, disability, age, or gender/gender identity unless specified otherwise

In person callback appointments will be held at The Center at West Park @ St. Paul & St. Andrew UMC Parlor (located on the first floor) 263 W 86th Street (entrance on 86th Street) on July 16th and 17th.

Rehearsals: August 1st-August 24th in New York City

Tech: August 25th-Sept 1st

Performances: September 2nd-6th at IRT Theatre

Payment: All actors will receive $700 for their participation
