The Burn Book Cabaret @ 54Below

The Burn Book Cabaret is a celebration of musical theatre's meanest moments, starring Broadway veterans and rising stars alike. From Mean Girls to Heathers, Audrey II to Amber Von Tussle, these are the characters that say the quiet part out loud.

Whether you're here for the gleeful chaos of "Candy Store," or the fiery unraveling of "World Burn," 54 Below welcomes those who agree that the villain is the most fun role to play. Expect sharp wit, spectacular vocals, and at least one number that will make you feel a little guilty for cheering. You won't want to miss this night of Broadway havoc.

Sound Check & Performance Date:

Friday, November 13th, 2026 (Sound Check 2:00-4:00pm, Show 9:30-10:45pm ET)

Performance Location: 54 Below (254 West 54th Street, Cellar, New York, NY 10019)

Rehearsal Schedule:

There will be one-two in person NYC rehearsals anticipated in late October or early November (to be scheduled based on team availability) and a sound check the day of.

For this cabaret, we're seeking performance artists who are comfortable and experienced singers. People of all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to submit. Submissions are welcome from both union and non-union artists. This is an unpaid experience, and there is no cost to participate. Performers will recieve both photos and video of the performance free of charge.

In order to be considered, please follow the link below and follow all submission instructions. You must submit a 16 - 32 bar cut of the musical theatre song you would like to perform (must fit theme).
