SEEKING

Equity actors for role of CAITLYN in BIRDS OF NORTH AMERICA.

Synopsis: This is a full stage production of this deeply moving (and funny) two-hander. John and Caitlyn are birders. The two struggle with conflicts and misunderstandings, but somehow attempt to bond over bird watching as 10 years pass and life's events sometimes overwhelm them.

"This exquisitely subtle, luminous father and daughter drama is not to be missed". Broadway World.

SEEKING:

CAITYN, John's mixed-race daughter, is an aspiring novelist, who currently works at a conservative news outlet. She ages throughout the play from mid 20's to late 30's. Smart, hypersensitive and struggling to navigate her career and private life. She loves her father John, a white liberal environmental scientist (CAST) but they "take everything the other says personally."
