The GhostLight Theatre - Benton Harbor (SW MICHIGAN) is looking to cast a female identifying person of color between the ages of 20-45 in the role of SANDRA/MS. BRITE for our FALL production of The Jeff Award Winning play ONE PARTY CONSENT written by Omer Abbas Salem and directed by Steppenwolf Ensemble member Caroline Neff. Self tapes and/or zoom auditions required. All inquiries please respond asap as we hope to cast within the next week or two.
Character Description :
Sandra-*
A person of color. The race and the name can be changed to fit the actor. They speak volumes with how much they withhold. They are not invisible but their job is to be invisible.
Ms. Brite-*
A person who holds her cards to her chest.
She really should work for some fortune 500 company but she works at the university. She is the youngest in her department and probably the smartest. She is an alumnus and has known Dean Healy for many years.
*Sandra and Ms. Brite are played by the same actor
