Synopsis

You're born a girl.

You grow up.

You grow old.

You die.

But along the way can you really forge your own identity?

Can you actually choose your own destiny?

And would you do anything differently if you could do it all over again?

<i>Second Person Narrative</i> by Jemma Kennedy is part of Platform, a new initiative from Tonic Theatre in partnership with Nick Hern Books.

Aimed at addressing gender imbalance and inequality in theatre, Platform comprises big-cast plays with predominantly or all-female casts, written specifically for performance by school, college and youth-theatre groups.
