YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Care, maintenance, and daily preparation of wigs and hair equipment for all performers

• Wig knotting/ventilating is an advantage; cutting and fitting wigs, as well as carrying out

repairs throughout the entire production run

• Cutting and styling performers’ natural hair, including production-specific styling

techniques such as “schneckeln”

• Cleaning, maintaining, and properly packing equipment for transportation

• Setting up, dismantling, and organizing the Make-up / Wig department at each venue

• Working closely with the costume department and other production departments

• Sharing responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of rehearsals and performances

• Potentially deputizing for the Head of Department in their absence

YOUR PROFILE / QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed training as a Make-up Artist as well as Hairdresser and Wig Maker or

experienced

• Experience in musicals, theater- and/or touring productions

• Skilled in knotting, adjusting, and repairing wigs

• Confident with cutting techniques for natural hair and hairpieces

• High flexibility and resilience

• Strong team player with a solution-oriented approach

• Excellent communication skills in German and / or English
