Preproduction:● To ensure the safe and efficient running of rehearsals ● To manage rehearsals smoothly and efficiently including marking out studios, operating technical equipment in rehearsal, and managing props and set ● To ensure clear communication of information between rehearsals and all relevant parties including props, set, lighting and wardrobe ● To keep accurate and up to date records of all rehearsal and performance paperwork ● To understand and work within relevant Health and Safety legislation and procedures ● To manage all stage management staff, ensuring the effective output and welfare of those employees ● To attend production planning meetings and any other meetings as required Show running: ● To run the stage manager track for all scheduled performances ● To run and manage the stage during show calls and performance ● To be responsible for managing the health and safety of the show team during performance ● To oversee the reset and to assist in the management of pre-show checks, warm ups etc ● To effectively communicate with all other technical departments to ensure the smooth running of the show ● To collate technical information and build accurate and detailed show reports to distribute to wider technical and creative teams ● To manage the day to day running of the stage management department ● To build rotas for the stage management team and rest of technical teams, and to ensure all tracks are adequately covered ● To manage the learning and support of new members of the SM team and deps ● To ensure all SM team have the relevant specialist training in conjunction with the Company Manager

Job Requirements

Contract Length: June 2026 - July 2027 All candidates must be willing to tour and be available for the full contract.
