Social Media / Personal Assistant
$20.00 – $25.00 per hour
Location: Chelsea, NYC | In-Person
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 10 hours/week across 3 days; flexible schedule
Compensation: $20-$25/hour, commensurate with experience

A Broadway and West End theater producer is seeking a Social Media / Personal Assistant to provide part-time support across social media and personal organization.
The ideal candidate is plugged into social media and current trends, with strong instincts for what makes engaging content. This person will help maintain and develop the producer’s presence across both professional/business and personal social accounts, while also providing general administrative and personal organizational support as needed.
This opportunity is ideal for an early-career professional looking to gain exposure to the commercial theater industry.
Responsibilities:
Social Media
-Develop and maintain a monthly calendar of social media posts across business and personal accounts
-Identify timely trends, relevant theater and entertainment content, and opportunities for engaging posts
-Draft, organize, and schedule social media content
-Help capture and organize photos, videos, and other content for social use
-Support social media around Broadway, West End, and other theater projects, events, and industry activities
Administrative & Personal Support
-Provide general administrative and organizational assistance
-Help organize schedules, appointments, documents, and personal tasks
-Assist with occasional research, errands, and other projects
-Take on additional responsibilities as assigned
Ideal Candidate:
-Has a strong finger on the pulse of social media, pop culture, and current trends
-Has excellent judgment about what is interesting, timely, and appropriate to post
-Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
-Is comfortable working independently and taking initiative
-Has strong written communication skills
-Is discreet and trustworthy with personal and professional information
-Has a flexible schedule and is able to work in person in Chelsea approximately 3 days per week
-Interest in theater, Broadway, entertainment, or the arts is a plus
-Prior experience with social media management, administrative assistance, personal assistance, or entertainment/theater is a plus
This is a flexible, part-time position of approximately 10 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours or responsibilities as needed.
