Present Company is looking to fill a position on our stage management team for our fall production of John Patrick Shanley’s Psychopathia Sexualis. The production will operate under an Actors’ Equity LOA, but both Equity and non-Equity candidates will be considered for the position.

Present Company is a traveling theater company that brings fully rehearsed professional plays into private homes and other spaces throughout New York City. The production will perform in a different location each night, with the staging adapted to each space.

Schedule

Rehearsals begin the first week of September and will total approximately 60 hours. The rolling performance window runs September 21 through November 22, 2026. Performances will be booked throughout the engagement, with at least one week’s notice provided. We’re happy to explain how the rolling schedule works in more detail on a call.

Applicants should be comfortable working in nontraditional performance spaces, collaborating closely with actors and directors, and adapting quickly to the logistical needs of each location.

Compensation

• Rehearsal-period compensation begins at $1,200.
• Additional compensation will be paid during the performance window, including compensation for each booked performance.
• Minimum guaranteed compensation for the full commitment is $2,200.
