Ticketing Duty Manager
You’ll report to the Sales and Ticketing Manager and be responsible for the Customer Service Hosts.
The Box Office Duty Manager supports the Ticketing Management with the daily running of the Box Office team by delivering the highest standards of customer service in order to maximize sales.
Please note, your role may involve working with children or vulnerable people.

- To cover for the Ticketing Manager as required ensuring that business objectives are continually achieved to the highest standard.
- To complete all daily tasks when running a shift, including float count, email response, reports and information requested by other departments.
- To distribute and communicate company information and product knowledge to ensure the team is fully informed to fulfil their duties to a high standard.
- To liaise with Visiting Company Managers and other external personnel to promote and deliver the Box Office services.
- To assist the Ticketing Manager in coaching staff in order to achieve the required performance standards.
- To manage staff on a shift basis while achieving customer satisfaction.
- To resolve customer service problems and initiate corrective action where appropriate.
- Monitor staff performance and relay any findings to the Ticketing Manager for appropriate action in order to maintain an effective team.
- To monitor daily computer and equipment operations to minimalize potential breakdowns and errors.
- To assist with the update of computer information to ensure that the Box Office meets the customer’s needs.
- To fulfil the role of the Box Office Assistant as required.
- To adhere to all Health & Safety Procedures to minimise the risk of injury and accidents, reporting to your line manger any Health & Safety concerns. All staff regardless of position have a duty to themselves, to their colleagues, and to any person who might be affected by their actions or omissions, to work in a safe manner. To attend training courses as required in order to further self-development.
- To complete any other delegated duty that assists the company achieve its business objectives.
- Experience of supervising or leading a team.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Experience with Ticketing systems.
- A good eye for detail.
