Sunkicks is seeking professional singers with strong vocal technique, excellent storytelling abilities, and great stage presence for Sunkicks: Home for the Holidays, a high-energy, family-friendly holiday production featuring dynamic staging and a mix of classic and contemporary holiday music. Following a successful premiere in Florida, the show returns for the 2026 season with a new expanded tour.

This is a touring production traveling from Florida to Colorado from November to December 2026.

Audition Dates & Location

This is NOT an open call. This is a submission for an invitation-only appointment in New York City.

  • Audition Dates: Monday, August 17th & Tuesday, August 18th, 2026

  • Appointment Times: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Both days)

  • Location: Pearl Studios, 500 8th Ave, NY, NY (In-Person Appointments)

  • How to Submit: To be considered, please fill out our online Audition Submission Form and attach your materials. Select talent will be actively invited and issued an official appointment time slot at Pearl Studios.

Required Materials & Vocal Prep

Please ensure the following items are uploaded or linked via the submission form to be considered for an invite:

  • Headshot & Resume (Please also bring a hard copy if invited)

  • Performance reels: Vocal Reel / Dance Reel

  • In-Room Audition Prep: If invited, auditionsees will be asked to prepare callback materials for the role in which the team is considering them for. In addition to callback materials please prepare 16-32 bars of a contemporary or classic holiday pop/musical theater song that shows off your range and personality. Bring sheet music in the correct key; an accompanist will be provided.

  • Florida Rehearsals Start: November 8, 2026

  • Opening: November 27, 2026 - In Florida

  • Closing: December 20, 2026 - in Colorado (With a possible extension through December 23, 2026)

Seeking

BARRY

(25–35, Tenor, Motown-style) Noel’s boyfriend / hopeful fiancé who is a major in the armed services. Barry is head-over-heels for Noel and is hoping to ask her to marry him. Barry is kind, witty, an extremely strong singer, and smooth mover.

BEAU

(20–30, Bari-Tenor) Mary’s boyfriend. Somewhat of a surfer dude / ski bum. This role also Understudies Nick and Kris Jr.

NOEL

(25–35, versatile strong upper-mix with belt) Kris and Carol’s oldest daughter. Noel is a successful businesswoman who works for the White House. Type A with motherly tendencies, she is sweet, caring, and always one step ahead.

HOLLY

(25–35, strong belt) Kris Jr.’s wife and mother of Kris III and Clara. Holly is typically stressed out by the holidays. Being married to Kris Jr., she is intimidated at trying to live up to her mother-in-law at Christmas. A strong belter.

Compensation, Housing & Travel

  • Weekly Performance Pay: $750 per week, payable on a bi-weekly basis, beginning with the start of Florida rehearsals on November 8th.

  • Per Diem: $250 per week once leaving for the tour to assist with meals and incidentals.

  • Travel to Florida: Set up and provided by the company.

  • Return Travel Stipend: A $300 stipend provided upon successful completion of the contract to assist with return travel home.

  • Housing Breakdown: HOUSING WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THE ENTIRETY OF THE CONTRACT (including all Florida rehearsal dates and tour). Shared housing is provided during Florida rehearsals. During the touring portion of the engagement, complimentary hotel accommodations (double-occupancy rooms) are fully provided.

  • Travel Provided: Airline transportation to the beginning of the contract in Florida and all required transportation during the term of employment (conducted via company motor coach) is fully provided and handled by the production team.
