City Stage Company’s The Bodyguard
Looking to cast roles ASAP. City Stage Company is seeking emergency replacements for the roles of Bill Devaney and Tony in our upcoming production of The Bodyguard. The Bodyguard is a musical but these are generally straight acting roles.
Rehearsals: Immediately–August 12
Schedule: Flexible rehearsal schedule, primarily weeknights
Pay: $800 ($175 per week + $25 weekly travel stipend)
Housing: Not provided
BILL DEVANEY (30s-40s)
Rachel Marron’s longtime manager and trusted member of her inner circle. Bill is professional, protective, polished, and deeply invested in Rachel’s career and safety. This role requires a strong actor with confidence, warmth, and the ability to command a room.
TONY (Late 20s - early 40s)
A member of Rachel Marron’s security team. Tony is alert, tough, loyal, and part of the world that surrounds Rachel’s high-profile celebrity life. This role requires a grounded performer with strong presence, focus, and comfort working in high-stakes dramatic moments.
