Barbara Molette is the author of several books about African American theater, including “Black Theater: Premise and Presentation,” “African American Dramatists: An A to Z Guide,” and “Fortunes of the Moor.” She has written numerous articles on the subject and was a frequent contributor to “Black World/Negro Digest.” Her play ROSALEE PRITCHETT, cowritten with Carlton Molette, was presented in New York City by the Negro Ensemble Company at the St. Marks Theater in 1970.
